Autumn Left Coronary System

maple

Early in the season, before the biting wind blows the papery leaves off the branches, a house wren hops along the circumflex, eyeing a juicy inchworm in a distal perforator.

This painting was made from an angiogram in a paper about the brushing wire for recanalization of total occlusion due to thrombus. The patient had tortuous distal vessels on resolution of the occlusion.
